Paintings

I've just returned home from delivering three paintings I'm putting in an art show this weekend. We have a public holiday on monday to celebrate the Queen's birthday (which is in April, work that one out), they don't even have a holiday for her birthday in England, I'm not complaining though, it gives me another day for art.
Back to the paintings, the harlequin masks are done in pastel, with gold acrylic paint to highlight the edges and bells on the masks. The second one is acrylic and collage along the lines of my previous ones, I've sold three similar to this, so while on a good thing stick to it.

The colors (or colours, if you prefer) in your life are beautiful. Nice use of complimentary colors on the blog and beautiful images.

Psst.....I saw a sneak peek of the Harlequins in your previous post. Pretty tricky!

These are amazing Ro!!
I just love your work so much, both your paintings and your jewellery!
Are you selling these pieces at the Art Show, or are they comp. entries?
Either way I am sure they will do really well.
Keep posting pics of your work, they are so inspiring.

Ro, these paintings are really exquisite! There is such a contrast between the colors and styles of each painting, and it's cool to see how multi-faceted your art is. I especially like the acrylic piece. It has so much depth and a feeling of mystery... the colors are warm and deep, and the darkness around the edges makes the center glow! Beautiful work!
