Altered book workshop

I'm teaching another altered book workshop this weekend, so I'm busily preparing kits for the class. I've also taken a few shots of my studio. I collect books like I collect most things, never in moderation. I love this little corner, I often sit with a coffee just to look something up and find two hours later I'm still there and have forgotten what I went to search for.
I have another section to the left where I have all my textiles, fibres and computer set up, I'll show photos on another day, when I've had a clean up.

Ro,

What an inspirational looking space you have to work in. Everything looks sooo inviting...and organized I might add.

Wish I could attend that workshop. Looks like it will be fun.

What a marvelous studio! I wish that I had that much room to spread out...maybe I'd be able to find things, then! The room looks so cozy and so organized. I can see why you would want to "hang out" in the book corner and relax!

I too wish I was coming to your class - or sitting in that chair, a book in my lap and watching you work. Lovely.

Your studio looks amazing Ro, a great place to create your works of art and I envy how organised you are!
I did promise myself I would clean my studio up tomorrow, but if this beautiful sunshine hangs around I will be spending the day in the garden!
Love Jo

I love seeing people's studios and yours is very inspiring. I'm also a collector of books and 'things' of all kinds, I wish I had a little corner of bookshelves like yours. I would spend hours there.

Hello, Ro! I haven't been around in a while, and there's so much visual goodness here, I don't ven know where to start! Did I ever tell you that your studio is to swoon for? What a great space full of such wonderful things, and it has the most wonderful looking ambiance. I laughed reading about you going through your books... it's amazing how one path leads to another when you go looking for something! I would so enjoy taking a class with you...
