ATC's

I've never made 'real' ATC's before, only the playing card variety that we took to the retreat at Fremantle earlier in the year.
These three are on their way to Gisele this week in a three for three swap I have with her. I thoroughly enjoyed making them, they are like creating miniature journal pages.
Speaking of which, below is another page in my current altered book, I have only one more page to go then this journal is complete apart from the cover. It has taken me fourteen months to complete. I have my next one lined up and ready to go.

Ro these are fabulous ATC's I remember admiring the playing card ones you did for the Art Retreat. I do enjoy these little pieces of inspiration and art.
The oriental flavour and texture of these is just sublime.

Ro,

It is always such a joy to see what you have on display. I would know your work anywhere at this point. Your style is so rich and filled with color and texture.

Boy, would I ever love to hold this book in my hands and look through it. Very slowly.

Your cards are beautiful! I love seeing the pages to your journal. So far I have found it too intimidating to begin work on a book. Maybe it's all the pages. But your journal keeps me thinking about it.

Ro these ATC's are just stunning. I also love the beautiful work you do in your altered books and journals. I was wondering what kind of paper or papers you like to work with when putting your books together together.

Hi Lisa
Thanks for your kind comments. I use paper serviettes, old phone book pages and my own decorated papers, then I add anything else that I might find,
In my next post I'm going to show the stages of one of my pages.

great atc's ro, i find them addicting, and probably for the reason you gave, they are like mini journal pages.

and the pages in your journal, scrumptious - especially the page on the right, it just pulls me in, the pallet and composition really appeals to me and that's before even looking deeply into it - great job!
