Back to the jewellery

I've been very busy over the holiday break making jewellery. The necklace in the photo along with another I'll show in my next post, is off to Antipodes Gallery in Sorrento. I made all of the chain and the large rings from aged copper then soldered then. The larger red beads are my hand made fabric beads.

I'm also busy making jewellery and journals for the Creative Soul Retreat in March for vendor night.

The earrings below are one of quite a few pairs I'll have available.

I've been taking close up shots around my studio and thought I'd add them to my posts now and then instead of in one big post. This is a very old wooden box that has dividers in it, like shelves. I cut up a cardboard cylinder and it's now a great home for my pencils and pens as well as my paints that I use for journalling.

Lovely pieces! I'm sure you will sell the heck out of them!
A little cooler over here today, thank goodness!

Your pieces are gorgeous, Ro! Thank you, too, for posting the organizational tip. I love the idea of using the cardboard tubes to hold a stash of pens and pencils. Brilliant! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Busy girl...looks like you will have some wonderful pieces for sale at the retreat!
Love looking at your studio photos...so nice to see what others have in their studio and how they organise them (ahem...I need to re-organise my artroom again after my visitor).

this is what a studio should look like, all used and in progress with the happy chaos of a buy artist - not all picture magazine perfect....

yay for happy working chaos.

that's a brilliant storage idea Ro - might think about stealing that one - I have too much stuff even for my beautiful studio but I need to see it all and we get plenty of cardboard tubes...

Wonderful pieces Ro - you will have a fantastic display to tempt the customers. Great storage idea - I have several cardboard tubes which I've kept incase they come in handy for something! Now I know what to to with them.
