Happy New Year

I'd like to wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy and art filled 2010.
Thank you all so much for your support in 2009 and thank you to everyone who leaves lovely comments on my blog, it's much appreciated. I try to get back to you all but find it difficult working full time and trying to start up my art business. I'm hoping that within the next couple of years I can work on my art full time.
I'm on holiday for two weeks but during this time I have jewellery orders to complete and a 'Princess wall' to paint for my three year old grand daughter. Now her brother has arrived fifteen days early, I have to get a cracking. He will be moving into her 'Nemo' room in a few weeks.

These are more pages and the cover of the journal that's in my Etsy store.

Below are more of my hand carved stamps that I added to my store today.

I'm going to endeavor to blog more this year, time permitting. I'm also going to try and update my header. I have a new photo below for my profile, the other one's a bit out of date now.

Ro, I hope all your dreams come true in 2010! You really need to be making your beautiful art full time!
Your journals are so stunning. THis type of art journal is still new to me and I have never seen one here in South Africa. Forgive my ignorance but do people buy them and then write over your beautiful pages? I'm sure this is the general idea but I'm not absolutely sure. I would be quite happy to keep one as a work of art.

so you work full time AND you get so much beautiful artwork done-- I'm impressed. You remind me of my friend Leslie at Textures Shapes Color who also works and yet manages to blog and get so much art work done.. I am fortunate to get to stay home in my studio and yet I find myself behind with the blogging and house, and gardens and cooking-- I am always so impressed with artists who also work at another job.

Just found your kind comment on my blog and looked into yours. What a fountain of creativity and color!
What material do you use for these rubber stamps? I have used linoleum, but it doesn't take my textile paints properly.

Happy New Year to you too Ro!!!

Your new blog format looks awesome, as do you. I am trying to get the time together to revamp mine as well. Time for a new header and look. Yes, time is few and far between with a full time job.

Your journal pages grace the new blog with beauty and your usual colorful style.

What a wonderful grandmother you must be to have. Still waiting over here :-) Enjoy
