What a fabulous time we had yesterday at
Jo's home. Jo decided to dismantle her old piano and invited some fellow artists and bloggers, including
Rosie who was visiting from the UK, to join in the task. Beautiful weather, great friends and wonderful food made the day so enjoyable. It was lovely to catch up with
Janette, Trish, Carolyn, Cathy and
Jason again as well as to meet some new artists friends.
We're all looking forward to creating some unusual art pieces from our collections.

This is another journal that I have for sale in my
Etsy store. This journal has a combination of blank watecolour papers, decorated papers, original and laser art pieces, laser prints of my papers some stitched decorations and a mix of different weights of lined and hand made papers.
This is the cover, it's made from my hand painted canvas and lined with Kaffe Fassett fabric.

I'm with Jo, I cant wait to see what you all create with your piano treasure...so many possibilites and always lovely to see how different artists use the same pieces in their art. Always surprises me all the different creations.

It's great that the old piano will get a new lease of life in various works of art. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of it. Another fantastic journal just bursting with delights.
First off, I love your new blog header!!! Second, what fun to work with old piano parts and to join in on the dismantling party!!! I know that fabulous things will result........ Your journals are delicious and I loved seeing the slideshow!! I am drooling. I think that it is a great idea to make some small ones as well as the lucious big ones- hit many price points as you can!!!

Great piano photos. Sounds like everyone had a great time, food and fun and dismantling too! Your journal is beyond beautiful...I especially drawn to your pomegranate images.
