Fabric pages

I'm still making journals, this time with some fabric pages added. This will be another large journal with my  decorated papers, blank papers and fabric.
I spent today with two of my grand children teaching them how to make their own decorated papers, it was lovely to see how they took what I showed them and then did it their way, no inhibitions, pure freedom, if only they don't get it knocked out of them at school.

I love the idea of including fabric pages in journals. Lucky grandchildren to have such a talented Granny - I'm sure they'll do you proud and not let the school system kill their creativity.

your journal is great, I love mixing fabric & paper & stitching both, tho I haven't made a whole journal... yet! I'd like to take your classes if I was nearer, too, but I'm lucky enought to be inspired by your blog, thanks!

I love all that riot of colour that is always happening in your journals Ro! I work with young children and one of the most wonderful things is to watch them at creative endeavours. They are so free and completely given over to the joy of creativity! It is the most inspiring part of my days!

Ro, how wonderful that you garner your grandchildren's enthusiasm and provide opportunity for them to create and explore. Treasured moments. Your journal pages are ablaze with colour.

Yummy fabric pages Ro... I love the mix of fabric and paper (and stitching, and glue and, and, and).
Just finished stitching up some little fabric houses on my (very) slow cloth too!
Would have been such fun to create decorated papers with your grandchildren...they are just so uninhibited and confident arent they?

Awesome, awesome pages, Ro! I love watching children create - there's such freedom and joy. They have no inhibitions, no fear, and they let their inner spirits guide. How wonderful that you get to share your fabulous talents with your grandchildren! Hugs, Terri xoxo
