New journal

This is a small journal that I was commissioned to make a month ago. When I say small, it's smaller than my usual size in dimensions but still very chunky. I'm in the process of making the cover and them assembling it. These are just a few images of the journal.

Seth, over at his blog The Last Page, has a weekly studio viewing happening and last Sunday Seth very kindly featured an image from my studio, you can see others too if you take a visit.

Absolutely amazing, and so beautiful. May I ask - is this a journal into which the recipient will write his/her thoughts and add other images?

Oh Goodness Ro this work is amazing! Just having finished my first journal I know how much work you have put into this. It looks like there are 3 separate ones but they will probably end up as one???
It is so bright, colourful and creative with your personal style.
Excellent workwomanship!
Cheers, Suzy

Fabulous colors in here - what is your binding method, a Coptic type? It would need such strength to hold all that lovelyness together.

Some great studios at Seth's!

I was wondering how you will bind it too. It is very thick and luscious looking. I think if I were depressed, one look at your colorful journal would certainly pull me out of it.

I love that journal - lucky person who commissioned it. I love it's chunkiness and the way you put the colours, patterns and textures together.
