More books

I'm working on another fabric/paper journal, this was going on my etsy but has been reserved by a lovely visitor to my blog. I'm also making some altered books to teach in a workshop from home. The kitchen's still progressing nicely. The stone benches go in this Saturday. I'll have photos soon.

A completed page in my sample altered book. I painted the vase and candle stick.

This is a smaller book. I painted the lady, her dress is made using papers inspired by Anne Bagby.

This is a page in progress.

My new journal in progress.

Thanks for all of the lovely comments on my previous post, they are much appreciated.

I find each page a new kind of delightfulness. I should make one for my grand daughter age 7, I know she'd love it.

Hi! Ro,

What a delicious new journal, no wonder it was snapped up. Love the altered books too, again as with all your work the colour and combination of colours is striking.

Beautiful work! Just found you!
How do you get such vivid colors on your pages? I have tried all sorts of techniques, but they ever come out bright enough!
Best,
Nancy
