workshop and journal

Wow it's been awhile since my last post. I've now completed my latest journal below. I also taught a lovely group of students at the Queen of Arts Retreat last Friday. They made some fabulous decorated papers then turned them into beautiful journals. We had a great day.

I received these fabulous drawers, from my husband, over the weekend for my birthday. They are for my studio to store my drawing papers and sketch pads etc. Now I've decided I'd like to have them in my sewing and jewellery section too, they glide in and out so effortlessly.

He also bought me some art materials including these fantastic inks made by Schminke, the Rolls Royce of inks. The sapphire blue one at the front was from lovely Jacky who I bumped into at the art store.

Thanks so much for all of your comments in my last post re the Pulse book, it was lovely to meet some new visitors.
I've just realized that I now have 600 followers, thank you everyone. I might have to organise a give away in my next post.

Absolutely love the journal, wonder when they will work out how to make things on computer touchable? The drawers are great, I could easily accommodate them at my place - happy birthday for then.

Hello Ro,

Such a delicious journal; and your students look so enthralled in their work. Your post on Seth Apter's book gave me the prompt, I am waiting for it to arrive, really looks good and what I have read here and at other blogs assures me it is, itching for it to get here. How lucky to get such lovely draws to keep your supplies in, a little envious, but wouldn't have the space. And a happy birthday whenever it was.

Happy belated birthday. Nice gift! I have asked this before and will ask again :) when are going to do an online class?
I love your work, maybe you can do it in steps so it will not be so expensive, or maybe a PDF to start and video classes later, or maybe have someone film your workshop? I am just throwing out ideas! I would love to take a class from you, but I am in the US. Thanks for sharing your work, I love popping over to see what you have been doing.
