Family

I'm proud to say both of my daughter's are now into the art lifestyle, it's taken awhile, but I knew I'd get there in the end. I taught my younger daughter to make necklaces a few years ago, (she gave up waiting for me to make her one). She's had so many comments on the ones she's made for herself and friends that she's decided to open an Etsy shop

Her style is so different to mine, she's definitely not into found objects, but her sense of what goes together is amazing. Maybe one day she'll make me one. I've added her shop to my side bar if you care to check them out. Below are some of her range.

My daughter will have more added soon.

Thanks for taking the time to visit and thanks for your lovely comments in the previous post.

Paintings and pages

I don't know where the time goes, it seems ages since my last post, I'll have to try to improve. I have some pictures of three of the paintings in my exhibition, two of these have sold. I'm hoping to make some archival prints of these to sell in my Etsy

I've also been busy working on my next commissioned journal, after this one I'll be working on journals for my Etsy.

Here are a couple of fabric pages in the new journal.

These fabulous castings were sent to me by Sue from blog Divajools
I met Sue a couple of years ago when she came to Melbourne. We both spent four days in Susan Lenart Kazmer's marvellous workshop. Sue's work is amazing, her castings and torch enamelled pieces are just fantastic.

Well I'll go now. Thanks again for taking the time to visit and for your lovely comments.
Catch up soon.
