Paintings and pages

I don't know where the time goes, it seems ages since my last post, I'll have to try to improve. I have some pictures of three of the paintings in my exhibition, two of these have sold. I'm hoping to make some archival prints of these to sell in my Etsy

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas - The Crofters

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas - SOLD

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas - SOLD

I've also been busy working on my next commissioned journal, after this one I'll be working on journals for my Etsy.

Here are a couple of fabric pages in the new journal.

These fabulous castings were sent to me by Sue from blog Divajools
I met Sue a couple of years ago when she came to Melbourne. We both spent four days in Susan Lenart Kazmer's marvellous workshop. Sue's work is amazing, her castings and torch enamelled pieces are just fantastic.

Well I'll go now. Thanks again for taking the time to visit and for your lovely comments.
Catch up soon.

I'm not surprised your paintings have sold, they are gorgeous and so full of colour and happiness. I love the castings and your new journal pages and wish I was as confident with colour as you are. I love colour but think I am a little scared of it too. Must try to teach this old dog a few new tricks!

I think that your work is like Gustav Klimt meets Dorrit Black! I love the idea of a crofters cottage settled in a landscape that explodes with bold yet harmonious colour. Good idea re print - great way to share the love!Glad but unsurprised that your work has sold so well at the exhibition.

Hi! Ro,

Your paintings are so beautiful with the most beautiful colours, lovely you sold two of them. The pages of your comissioned journal are stunning I envy it's new owner.

Love those paintings Ro - they are so vibrant. How do you manage to fit so many different crafts into your life? Do you separate the things you do or does one area feed into another.I only ask because I'm spending a lot of time lately thinking about all of my different work and wondering if the time is right for me to start thinking about the one area to persue exclusively.

Such amazing paintings - you are indeed multi-talented! Your daughter's work is gorgeous, and its nice that she is developing her own style. How wonderful to share your love of crafting things with your girls - mine sadly aren't interested.
