It's almost February and my first post for the year. I hope everyone enjoyed their break. I've been busy creating mew things for my Etsy shop.
I've also been working out classes for this year. I'm teaching 'Mosaic Madness' at Fibre Arts Australia. in Ballarat in July. This workshop is for five days, so you should be able to complete your project to take home. Details and enrolment are here: http://www.fibrearts.jigsy.com/ro-bruhn
I will also be teaching at Uluru in Central Australia in August this year. Not only do you get chance to do a three day workshop, but you also get to visit the magical Uluru and partake in some wonderful outings. You also get to keep your own BERNINA sewing machine that's provided for the workshop. I'll be teaching painting your own fabric as a group, so that you don't need to worry about a blank piece of fabric, or panic because you don't paint. Then we turn the fabric into a very versatile, light weight bag, that you can wear or fold up and put inside another bag. It packs away into a small shape, no bigger than a small fold up umbrella. For details and enrolment visit this link:
Below are images for both workshops

Typical finished piece of fabric that you can keep or frame if you don't want to make a bag
One of the bags using the group fabric
Another bag made from the painted fabric
If you don't want to make a large bag, I'll show you how to make a small one and an iPad or tablet cover.

Catch up again soon, thanks for dropping by.

You have the year mapped out by the sound of it. I love those mosaic pieces and the fabrics are delightful - full of sunshine. What as shame I live half the world away and can't join one of your tempting courses/workshops. Lucky students.
