Making more books

What a productive group of ladies attended my workshop on Saturday. They all went home with their books assembled and some pages decorated. I love teaching the workshops at home. Most of the people who attend know one or two people there, but because I have a maximum of eight, by the end of the class they all know each other. Some are returning students too which is always lovely. I feel I've made so many new friends from these workshops.

I have to thank my wonderful husband too, he does such a marvellous job of feeding everyone, he has the kitchen running like clockwork.

It was an absolute delight to do your workshop Ro and I would do another one without hesitation! And what a lovely bunch of girls to do a class with too - good fun. As for our 'chef' (Steve)- impressive! A totally enjoyable day!

BUT ... please take that goofy picture of me off (lol) ... *begging*

What a wonderful workshop Ro - each of your students has made a fantastic book - I wish I didn't live half the world away!! It's great that your husband catered for everyone. That's what I call teamwork!

Hi Ro

Thanks so much for the wonderful workshop on Saturday. I had a lovely time ; great bunch of girls ; and you are a generous and giving teacher.

Please thank Steve for the wonderful food too - pity you can't clone him :) (think there would be a few takers if you could).

You have a beautiful home, so much to look at and your studio make my heart go a flutter!

Have a good week.

It certainly looks like a lot of beautiful art was created and your workshop was a great success. Part of that success sounds like that should include your hubby, he sounds like a real gem.

Oh Ro!!! Once again a fabulous workshop! Your workshops always embrace so much more than just a day of learning. A beautiful environment full of warmth, stunning sustenance, lovely friends and generous hospitality.
Thank you so much for another lovely Saturday and thank you for the impetus to finally start my "family" inspired artworks!

Oh waht fun you ahd- I know that I sound like a broken record but, I wish that I could have been there!!!!!

The books are glorious crying out to be touched- must be the fabric and the velvet!!

It certainly looks like classes in your home are a great success- it must force you to keep your workspace organized and ready to entertain- perhaps I should try something similar- to keep my studio neat I mean!!!!!

What can I say Ro... I love doing your workshops!!! I always come away so happy (and with something finished to show my family!!!).
As Samm said, the workshops in your home are more than just a class. There is a real warmth from you and Steve and we are all made to feel so welcome (and so clever).
Even though vintage is not my thing, I loved doing this class and being able to do my own take on vintage. Had FUN!

Happy Birthday. I turn 60 next month. I too have mixed feelings about 60. Glad I am alive but a little intimidated by the number.

Ro,these are fantastic slides you've shared with us. I especially like the heads down photos. LOL! All that work paid off. And all the girls and their books are lovely, warm, friendly...

Say, I just walked back from my little rural mailbox lugging a package from -- ta da! --Ro Bruhn!

THANKS. A true treasure trove and the hits just keep on comin', as they say here on the radio.

Would love it if we could figure out how to move Australia and Athens just a bit closer!
