Pages

Our little art group, Jacky, Dot and Patsy had our get together on Saturday and had a wonderful time, talking, eating and journalling. We've been doing a book swap for sometime now and I've been working in Patsy's book. Here's the results below. The style was very influenced by the workshop I took with Flora Bowley.

This is how two of the pages started.

This was the end result. The camera reflected off the right hand page so you can't see all of the detail.

This was the second page, before

and after, I love this technique and am going to do Flora's on-line workshop too for more tips.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments in my last post and also for visiting my guest post on Crescendoh blog.

Wonderful pages Ro - love the cats and such uplifting vibrant colours. One day I might get brave enough to try making something like this myself.

Fantstic fun - Flora's technique is quite amazing and she is so free in her work. I got to see some of it first hand at Squam, quite marvelous. xox Corrine

Oh wow, I see what you've done, covered up a lot of stuff and just let some of it show through! Must have a go at THAT!

It took me a minute to work it out, very clever. Wonderful how things seem to 'appear' out of the mist. Lucky ladies to have something so lovely in their books.

Art days with the girls.....just about my favorite thing to do. The results here show how much you loved it, that's for sure.

Trying to figure out where would be a good half way point for us to meet and spend the day.....Italy India South Pole Hawaii.....

I look at your page in my book and it makes me happy.

Your earrings are beautiful and earthy, too bad I am an "old person" :-) and big dangles pull my ears too much. Love the stamps as well. The variety of designs you come up with is amazing.

Happy day to you, Ro!!! xxoo
