I still have to add beads and chain to the top.
A close up of the centres.
I add stamping to the base of some of the papers I add to my journals, usually I use my small hand carved stamps but I've now made some foam stamps that are A4 in width so I can stamp in one go.
The stamps are double sided.
These are some papers I've decorated to add to the journals.
Recently I purchased a Gelli Plate from The Thread Studio, instead of making my own gelatine plate, it's great. I love the marks you get from the gelatine plate you make yourself but the Gelli Plate is so much easier to clean and it lasts forever if you look after it and it also creates great prints. The one above is on paper and has been printed twice.
This is another print on paper.
This was printed twice with the design being in gold paint.
Happy creating.

I like your yoyos.
Biscuit tin! Well I never! Luv it Ro!
love your papers.....and your necklace is gorgeous...
You have some ingenious ideas Ro...a necklace made out of old biscuit tin...and it's so beautiful!!!
Fantastic post Ro - love the biscuit tin yo-yos and your A4 stamps are wonderful. I am tempted by the Gelli plates and love what you have done with them, but should really stop looking at other people's blogs and get on with some work of my own! The only trouble is that my favourite blogs are so interesting!!
Your foam stamps are just great Ro as are your papers. Do you use a specific type of paper for your journals? I've been experimenting of late.
Fabulous scrummy post as usual, I love all those colours and patterns.
And the necklace is inspired :-)
A4 size stamps - now that is a brilliant idea! I love that you made the stamps double-sided too! It all looks so yummy ...
It's such a visual treat coming here!
I just adore all your papers Ro. I agree with Heather...the time has come to make instead of look at what others have made.
Hmmmm....just need a smidge of the talent. Please??
Hi! Ro,
Gosh you have been busy, the necklace with the Suffolk Puffs is beautiful and unusual with the fabric addition. The papers done with the foam stamps are alsoquite different, and those done with the Gelli Plate - captivating, you are very creative.
Your biscuit tin necklace is most unusual. Love it!
You never fail to inspire me Ro ....your necklace is unique and I love the patterned papers. (Great idea to make a long stamp!)
I am glad you can say a pre prepped plate is better than a home made one. I often scratch my head wondering why products ar out there that you can make at home.
oh, and I love the little wrapped pebble hanging off the necklace. Perfect balance.
What gorgeous textures and colours..the necklace is fantastic!

I love what you have done with the biscuit tin Ro...you are so inventive and your Yo-Yo necklaces are wonderful, have your special Ro touches.
Gorgeous papers too. Cant wait till we catch up next and I can see all of these in the flesh.
