one of my collage and painted pages, I love working in layers
I started this and wasn't that happy with it so.......
I did this and was much happier, it may not be finished yet, who knows
Patsy infront of a couple of her paintings. The paintings are behind perspex so they don't show up as well as in real life.
This painting is gorgeous, it's all turquoise and green shades, again the photo doesn't do it justice.
textile pictures and painted tiles.
one of Patsy's repurposed coats and some textile paintings.
more coats and bags

The house I grew up in, in England was surrounded by fields of daffodils, my favourite flower. The photo above is about ten minutes away from where I live, now in Australia, and it's a thrill every year to visit the site.
This is the view from part of the farm.
Thanks for taking the time to visit and for your much appreciated comments.
Catch up soon.

I love your layered pages. I must stop being such a wimp and try this technique myself.
Patsy's paintings are beautifully colourful, very unusual and great fun. I love her bags and jackets too.
Your daffodil photo looks almost English - they are such a welcome sight.
Beautiful post, and photos! Thank you for sharing the creating of your layers....kathy
Your journal pages are beautiful, especially the first image. I enjoyed seeing work from your friends exhibition and love the invitation.
Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing! Her artwork is amazing! I cannot wait to see how your journal page turns out! I recently posted a finished sketch on my blog its of a mushroom house if you'd like to take a peek! Hugs! deb
Love the pages. I could do with one of those Star Trek transporter things as I would certainly love to see Patsy's exhibition
What a fantastic explosion of colour!
Beautiful work by your friend, especially the clothing. I like your journal pages too. Seeing your daffodils reminds me that while you are approaching the joys of Spring we will soon be slipping back into winter. I love the colours of Autumn so I can enjoy them while enjoying your Spring photos too :-)
It's strange, here in England, to think of you with daffodils right now...in August when here the garden is starting to bow down towards autumn. My friend works on the Isles of Scilly picking daffodils. Hard work in spring, but imagine the light in his eyes as he does it!

Hi.
Your friend makes beautiful art just like you do. Your journal pages are outstanding. The photo of where you live in Australia is gorgeous. I know nothing about Australia ~ I must do a little reading now that I have a friend living there. I'm quite sure there is a lot more to Australia than kangaroos. ♥
