At last it's finished

It seems to have taken forever, but at last my grandson's bedroom wall is finished. It kept getting additional characters as he sat on his bed supervising. He still wants me to add him and his sister and baby brother sitting on the beach, but that's a mere trifle compared to all of the smurfs and minions. Part of him wanted to keep his Nimo wall, so I added much smaller versions of Nimo, Dory and Squirt jumping out of the water.

It was very hard to get a photo of all of the wall as it's quite long, my photo turned out very dark too.
The minion on the boardwalk was painted by his big sister and he did the one down in the right hand corner. There's actually water with boats sailing behind the sand dunes but they are hard to see in this photo.

Nimo, Dory and Squirt

the Minions

the Smurfs

while I painted the wall I kept Xavy busy painting his wooden stool, I love what he's done with it.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate your comments and your continued support.

What a wonderful gift for your grandson - he'll have endless hours of fun imagining all the adventures those characters could have - it's a real work of art. Artistic talent seems to run in your family - that stool is a work of art too!

Now then! I have a wall that is 26 feet long and could seriously do with some painting!!

I also quite like Smurfs..... :-)

What a beautiful gift for dear Xavy. I love the stool he painted too; the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? xoxox
