Paintings have been Delivered

I delivered my paintings to the art show tonight. They are totally different, one's a pastel painting and the other is acrylic, mixed media, collage. I like so many styles of painting, I find it hard to concentrate on just one.
Now I'm back to making jewellery.
I found out today my little four year old grandson is coming to stay with me on Saturday so we're in for a day of art, he loves it.
It's such a special time together.

What very different styles! My favourite is the bottom one.
Have fun with your grandson, it's a lovely age.

Wow i have to say the bottom one does it for me too - love that black and white check paper - can't track it down anywhere, even have michael on the hunt. although someone at artistic journey gave me a small piece.

They're gorgeous jo!! Good luck with the show. I do that as well with my nieces and nephews, just hand an artful weekend with them. So much fun! Eve is three and asked me right away whether we'd be painting and stamping again. What more can one ask for? Have a wonderful time!

It would be hard for me to say which would be my favorite. There was a time that the top one without a doubt. Now I'm really energized by the bottom. I so understand the "hard to concentrate on just one" thing. Me too

the two works show great talent Ro.
Such very different styles and approaches. Your versatility is a creative talent in itself - and you do jewellery too!
what a prolific lady!

It's wonderful to be able to work in so many different ways. Nothing is ever boring.

I would have to say though, that I am currently sitting here with 5 unfinished very different things and am writing to you instead of trying to decide what to work on.

You are to be commended for finishing so many wonderfully different things.
