Mixed bag

This is a mixed bag of things happening at the moment. Firstly I made the earrings above and added them to my etsy store tonight.

The necklace is one I've made for my daughter for Christmas, I don't need to worry about showing you as she doesn't visit my blog, up until now that is so here's hoping. It's not hard to tell what her favourite colour is.

These are pictures I took today of some rusty old farm machinery, as you can see the area is so dry and we've only just started summer. I love the old chain and the wheels, would love to have them join other pieces in my garden.

This guy came to see what all the fuss was about.

What an amazing view you have from your garden, Ro, I woke up to a thick frost this morning and the temperature's barely risen above freezing all day.
I do have sheep in the field in front of my house, but not a kangaroo :-)
Your daughter's necklace is beautiful, I love that shade of blue.

What a lucky daughter you have, the blue is stunning, cool farm machinery too. It's very dry over here as well, vertually no rain for November and we live in the mountains. However since December came along we seem to have had nothing but rain...drizzle...more rain. I'm waiting for the garden explosion, any minute now.

Ro, one thing that makes me smile with families, I have found, most of them dont read the blog, but you leave you diary out by mistake and they are the first ones there...

I bet your daughter will love the necklace although I know what you mean about never knowing what she will really like or favorite colors...I have that problem too!

Too too fun, the kangaroo!!

So great to see what you are working on. Beautiful. I like old rusty machines like that too. Maybe that's one thing that drew me to assemblage. We are buried under a couple feet of snow so it was also nice to see ground and the kangaroo (was it??)
Take care.
