Quirky sheep and lollipop trees

I was sorting through photos of some of my paintings today and came across these three. They were part of a series that I did some time ago on quirky sheep (jolly jumpers) and cows. I was experimenting with lollipop and inverted umbrella trees. The series went very well, I ended up selling five in the end.

I received my 'Secrets of Rusty Things' book by Michael deMeng today. WOW what a fabulous, must have book, for anyone who collects found objects. The layout and photos are fantastic, the book is a work of art in itself. It's not a how to book, but Michael does explain things as he goes along. The eye candy and inspiration is incredible. Well done Michael.

Haven't done an Illustration Friday for awhile, but this weeks topic suited my fruit and veg series.

Paintings have been Delivered

I delivered my paintings to the art show tonight. They are totally different, one's a pastel painting and the other is acrylic, mixed media,collage. I like so many styles of painting, I find it hard to concentrate on just one.
Now I'm back to making jewellery.
I found out today my little four year old grandson is coming to stay with me on Saturday so we're in for a day of art, he loves it.
It's such a special time together.
