Tools and journals

A girl can never have too many screw drivers. My husband finally rebelled against me borrowing his screw drivers and not returning them to his tool box. This was the answer. He saw them on special and thought there was probably enough there to last me a lifetime. So girls that's what you do when you need new tools.

While he was there he also saw these tools kits with bits suitable for my trusty dremel. What a lovely man he is.

These are some small journals I'm making to sell at the Artistic Journey retreat here in May, I'll also be making some for my Etsy store. The stamps are my hand carved ones that are going in the kits of the students who are doing my Altered book workshop at the retreat.
I'm also teaching a decorated paper and journal making workshop, similar to the journals above, at Hann Made Studio on April 20th, there are still places available if you can make it. The phone number for Hann Made is in my side bar.

Finally thanks once again to Seth from The Altered Page for allowing so many of us to show off our art on his blog. Seth has covered some wonderful topics and the art is fabulous, it's well worth dropping by.

Yes, Ro....we don't need diamonds do we?....not unless they are on a drill bit.

I'm waiting for someone to invent a transporter ala Star Trek, so that I can come to one of your workshops.

Have a great day!!

Hi Ro
Like your style re the aqusition of tools. I use the same ploy and have got some nice little sets that way and a really hard won super little hammer!! He really didn't want to let that one go :-)
Me too Karen! I'm so envious of all those lucky people who can do your workshops, Ro. What we need is an on-line one LOL
Love the journals, did you make the stamps out of erasers?

I love your tool set. I requested on myself 2 years ago (sadly I have not used mine yet! I am intimidated!) Did you use the "drummels" for hollowing out for creating stamps? That is what I thought they could be used for... but my kit did not come with instructions on the tools/attachement uses. I will tackle attempting to use my tools this week.

I have been away from blogging for too long. My computer is up and running again. I see I will have a lot of catching up to do as far as checking out my list of blogs… and btw: I am going away for a week – leaving Friday. Will I ever catch up?

I am now suffering from Dremel envy! I am still trying to find the confidence to use mine! Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

My latest tool 'need' is a Fibro cutter....don't ask.

Love the screw driver set. I bought a few from a garage sale as I got tired of trying to find them, the children leave them all over. I too would like to know what you carve your great stamps with/from???
